The Thunder were born when the Seattle Supersonics ('79 Championship) were sold to a group of Oklahoma based investors. When they couldn't reach agreement with the city of Seattle on a new arena, the team relocated to Oklahoma in 2008, after 41 years in the Pacific Northwest. Today, coach Scott Brooks has one of the youngest, most exciting clubs in the association. Led by Kevin Durant, it's hard to put a ceiling on their potential.
