Heads Up22-Feb-12

Born in 1980, made the playoffs 6 of 7 times from '83-'90 led by Aguirre, Blackman, Harper, Perkins and Schrempf. The '90s were dark ages apart from the Jason Kidd, Jamal Mashburn and Jim Jackson (Three J's) era. The Mavs returned to prominence under new owner Mark Cuban in the 2000s, led by a new "Big Three" of Nowitzki, Finley & Nash, making it to the Finals in 2006. Still an elite Western team retooling for another title push.
