A founding NBA team still playing out of their original city. The 70’s was a golden era, winning 2 titles in 4 years with Frazier, Reed and Bradley. Lean times followed until big man Patrick Ewing was drafted in '84, later joined by Starks, Oak and Spike Lee (in the front row) leading a resurgence. Later the Choker, Latrell Sprewell, took them to the '99 Finals where they fell to the Spurs. The Isiah period is best forgotten however the signing of Amar’e, Melo and Chauncey brings big expectations for 2011.
