From the Buffalo Bisons in '46 to the Atlanta Hawks in '68, the franchise made the finals 4 times, all against the Celtics, prevailing once in 1958. For 2 decades they they were a force with names like Petit, Wilkens (Lenny) and Cousy. In '82 they acquired Dominique "The Human Highlight Film" Wilkins and continued to contend, but much like today's roster, could never get out of the East. Johnson, Smith, Horford and Bibby make up an exciting roster on paper, but can they be the beast of the East?
